Anyone else getting banned?

It seems I was just banned from the server; anyone know why?

I was too, dunno why.

I wonder if Waha's password was guessed? Waha was the only admin (*) online at the time I was banned.

(*) There were two other people on at the time, but I hadn't seen them on the server before.

I know how you guys got banned, the server was in offline mode, so anyone could log in as the admins or owners. This way, someone must have logged in as Waha or any other admin, and then ban players. Obviously, the person that did this knows thunderrabbit and the supers.

I'm definitely sure your username was logged on when I got banned. I had just logged on and I was surprised to see you online cause I hadn't seen you in a while. I was like, "hey peeps" in the chat and then boom got banned.

Above, Neku was saying the server was in offline mode, though I don't know what that means. (If it's "offline" how could I log in?) The person who logged in as Waha didn't have to know me; I had just logged on, so the person could see me via chat.

offline mode means that it doesnt check in with minecraft.net to verify who is who, so you just disconnect your internet for a second, log in with whatever username you want, reconnect internet, and boom, you are now that person. this only works, however if the server is on offline mode, which is isnt anymore. At that time you got banned, it's entirely possible that someone "logged in" as waha.

Thanks for the explanation; I wonder if people try logging in as other people a lot, or if someone knew the server was in offline mode.

Honestly, its not much of an issue as to who did it seeing as they A. Cant do it again since we're back online, and B. didnt do any major damage other than annoy a few people
